Daniel Studied at the Universities of Western Ontario and British Columbia where he earned degrees in Urban Geography and Landscape Architecture. After practicing as an Urban Designer and Landscape Architect in the Vancouver area, Daniel entered the film industry …quite by accident. Over the years, working as a cameraperson, Daniel has worked on projects ranging from Music Videos and TV commercials up to big budget feature films.

 

In 2006, Daniel studied the art and technique of Steadicam operation with the Steadicam Operator’s Association in Chester Springs Pennsylvania. Some of the most skilled and experienced operators in North America participated in the program.

 

Currently, Daniel is dedicating all of his time to the craft of Camera Operating and Steadicam operation, having worked on several national advertising campaigns, short films, feature films and everything in between. Daniel has contributed to feature films for overseas markets such as Korea and Bollywood. Daniel also dedicates much of  his down time to working with film students, volunteering on projects in need of Steadicam services and offering advice along the way.
